I'm also an avid non-fiction reader who finds comfort and grounding in the world of history and philosophy. 'Liquid modernity' and our evanescent desires  have unmoored us from truth, reality, and our intrinsic selves. Through ancient wisdom, solitude, and a firmly rooted hierarchy of values, I believe  we can find our way back.
